Catfish action on the Fox River in Green Bay has been great! Every night has seen several large channel and flat head catfish in the boat. Most nights we are boating 20-30 catfish! Its a blast! Green Bay and the Fox River are a hidden secret for giant catfish! Trophy sized flathead catfish and big channel cats swim throughout the waters of the Green Bay system. Channels can be caught year round on cutbait and a variety of other baits. Channels are also a regular appearance while trolling for walleyes, in fact one of the best times to catch giant channels is during one of my August trophy walleye trips in Door County! Nothing better than a combo of 10lb walleyes and 20lb cats! Flathead cat fishing is great right in downtown Green Bay. The months of June and July provide the best trophy flathead action.
