Took a short break from musky fishing on Green Bay this past week and ran a few trips in Northern Wisconsin. The sucker bite was on, a few fish came throwing rubber and cranks but the majority bit the meat! I don't run many trips up there, but if you are looking for a multiple day trip in the north woods, give me a call. I'll be back out on Green Bay tomorrow chasing the giants!

With the cooling water temps the Green Bay muskies are starting to get very active. Both casting and trolling is beginning to produce nice muskies in the mid 40 to 50 inch range. This fall should see some of the biggest muskies ever caught on Green Bay! Late last fall a 55" x 27.5" musky hit the Frabill! I see a trend of more big fish every year and this year will be no exception. Call now to book the trophy musky trip of a lifetime! 715-581-5678

The Northern Wisconsin musky opener on Green Bay has been amazing for my customers and I! Saturday we boated nine muskys and lost 2. Sunday we boated 5 and raised 5. Only 3 of the 14 fish boated were under 45" and biggest was a pair of 48" in muskys! All fish were caught casting Tyrant Little Louie's and Tilky Tails.
The musky fishing should continue to be hot on the bay of Green Bay throughout the month of June. The Door County musky bite will be going strong soon too.
I still have a few openings left for this amazing musky bite! Call me asap to get in on it!

The Northern Wisconsin Musky opener is just a couple weeks away! There is no better place than the Bay of Green Bay to kick off your musky season, big fish and great numbers! The current cool spring weather will mean hot musky action! This year is looking to be one of the best musky openers in years! The best action will be the first three to four weeks of the season.Fish will be concentrated in specific areas and very active. We will be mostly casting small bucktails, topwaters, and twitchbaits. Trolling may be an option, but the majority of the time we will be casting for big muskys.

Musky season is just a couple months away! Opening day here on Green bay is the Saturday of Memorial Weekend. Early in the season we will mostly be casting small bucktails, twitch baits, and topwaters in areas near and adjacent to spring spawing areas. The action can be fast and furious, with many multiple fish days and big fish! It’s a great way to kick off your musky season! Opening weekend always seems to produce a few 50” fish!
As the season progresses and the muskys move closer to their summer haunts we will still be casting big crankbaits, plastics, and large bucktails and spinner baits. We will be fishing North of Green Bay targeting deep weedlines and rock bars.
Fall will be hawg musky trolling time on the lower end of Green Bay. The fishing typically heats up in Mid-September and continues till the end of November. This time of year sees great numbers of fish boated as well as numbers of big muskies. This is the best time and best place in Wisconsin to boat a 50” musky! Last year the biggest fish in our boat was a 55 inch giant!
