Salmon action is finally starting to pick up off of Kewaunee Wisconsin. The last several trips have seen anywhere from 8 to 15 fish hit the cooler. Some very big Salmon have been coming lately, including a giant 28lb king caught by customer Rob Dowda!

The salmon action off of Kewaunee and Algoma Wisconsin is really starting to heat up! last night We we were 9 out of 13 fish, with 7 nice king salmon, one rainbow and one lake trout. Some very nice sized fish starting to show up already. Should be great fishing on the big lake for the next couple months. Call now 715-581-5678 to book a trip!

Brown trout trolling is just starting to pick up the last few weeks and should only get better as the harbors clear and spring runoff brings warm dirty water into the lake. Limits of tasty hard fighting fish are the norm on these trips! Most fish run 4 to 10lbs, and trophy fish from 15 to 20lbs are available! We will be trolling crankbaits on shallow flats in 6-15 feet of water.

Steelhead are starting to move into the rivers and the action should only get better in the next few weeks as the runoff picks up, a few warm rains and the streams should be full of big rainbows. We will be floating spawn sacs and yarn flies in the deeper holes and faster riffles.

By late May the salmon action should pick up and get hot! I run most of my trips out of the Kewaunee or Algoma harbors. The salmon season usually peaks in mid-June through August. Trips are 6hours in the early morning or 6hours in the evening.  These trips are for the fisherman that wants to catch salmon! I will involve you in the trip, allowing you to help set lines and grab rods when a fish hits! Its your trip and you can be involved as much as you want!
