Captain Brett Jolly is a US Coast Guard Licensed Charter Captain and Tournament Angler from Green Bay WI. Brett has been fishing for 28 years and guiding part time for the past 7 years. In 2008 he will be guiding full time on Green Bay and Lake Michigan.
Captain Brett Jolly is committed to providing the best fishing experience possible to his clients. Not only will you catch fish during a trip with Brett, but you will become a better fisherman.
Captain Jolly will involve you in all aspects of the trip, everything from setting lines to fish location and lure selection. The Captain specializes in Muskie, Walleye and Trout and Salmon trips, but can also accommodate anglers looking for other species such as perch, catfish, bass, or pike.
Brett fishes from a fully rigged Tuffy 2060 DS; his boat is capable of handling nearly every fishing condition Mother Nature throws its way. The boat can accommodate up to three anglers per trip. All fishing gear is provided by Captain Jolly. Brett only uses top of the line gear such as St. Croix Rods and Reels, and Frabill nets, tip-ups and ice shelters.
Jolly is currently a touring pro on the Wisconsin Musky Tour (WMT) where he and his tournament partner Lucas Molepske have notched multiple top-ten finishes, including a huge win at the 2006 2-day Manitowish Chain Tournament. Brett and Lucas have also had success in several other tournaments including the Muskies Inc. Best of the Best, where they finished in the money two years in a row. In 2008 the boys will be taking on the Central Division of the Masters Walleye Circuit(MWC).
Brett has been featured in several Gannet Wisconsin Newspaper articles written by Jim Lee. In 2008 Brett will be making his television debut on Hook’d UP with Justin Gaiche, and two other shows yet to be filmed. Jolly is also an experienced writer himself and has written articles for Muskies Inc Magazine and several muskie related websites.
